Who we are
ProTEACH Connect is a resource center from ProTEACHai Foundation for leaders of people, learning, and change. ProTEACHai Foundation is the responsible organization for the Pulse action research surveys and their response handling. Research led by Justine González, ORCID 0009-0007-5911-903X. For privacy questions, information-rights requests, or accessibility assistance, email proteachconnect@proton.me.
This notice covers the ProTEACH Connect pages and local learning tools on this site. It does not replace the policies of Notion, YouTube, podcast platforms, LinkedIn, separately hosted tools, or a future consulting agreement.
Information and purpose
Pulse: purpose and design
Our action research surveys are practice-focused micro studies about overload, stalled implementation, and trust during AI adoption. They use selected questions from the Inner Compass Leadership Development Workbook to support reflection, improve practical resources, and inform aggregate learning. They have no external funding. They are not validated assessments, clinical tools, or employee evaluations.
Eligibility and voluntary participation
Participation is for adults aged 18 or older, currently in the United States and reflecting on a relevant workplace change. Two initially unchecked confirmations cover eligibility and agreement to the stated uses. Participation closes July 1, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time (America/Chicago). You can leave before submitting. Every required rating and both profile fields offer “Prefer not to answer”; the written question is optional. A confirmed submission unlocks the matching question-set PDF without requiring an email address. Other free resources remain available without participating.
What we collect and where it goes
The submission includes industry, broad team role, nine rating responses, an optional reflection, eligibility and consent confirmations, the survey and notice versions, a random submission ID, and the date received in Central Time. We do not request names, emails, employers, exact job titles, exact age, addresses, or other demographic details. The random ID prevents duplicate saves during retries; it is not linked to an account or used to track people across surveys.
Production responses travel over HTTPS from the Netlify-hosted website to a Netlify server-side function, then Google Apps Script, then a restricted Google Sheet controlled by the researcher for ProTEACHai Foundation. The access token is not included in public browser code. The application provides no public endpoint for reading responses. Its code does not intentionally log answers, IP addresses, or device fingerprints with survey records. Netlify and Google may process technical and service information separately under their terms.
Until you submit, entries stay in the open page; no autosave or browser local storage is used. After confirmed saving, the page clears its working answers and shows a receipt and a one-hour download link for the question-set PDF. That PDF contains questions, not your responses. The temporary link grants access only to the PDF, not to survey data. Host logs may include download requests. Keep the receipt if you may want to request removal of your response.
Use, sharing, and limits
We do not sell responses, use them for advertising or employment decisions, provide employers with individual answers or participation lists, or send participant responses to AI models for analysis or training. We share only aggregate findings and non-identifying summaries, not raw rows or verbatim reflections. Groups with fewer than ten responses and identifying combinations are withheld or combined; larger groups are also checked for disclosure risks. Aggregate reporting may continue through 2028.
Do not enter names, employers, school names, student records, employee case details, health information, or identifying context. Industry, role, and written details may still identify someone. We do not promise complete anonymity or absolute security. If accidental identifying content is found, the researcher will remove or redact it before analysis or reporting.
Response retention and withdrawal
Individual responses are retained through July 1, 2030, then deleted from controlled working files, exports, and backups unless an applicable legal or documented obligation requires a different period. Non-identifying aggregates may remain. Deletion includes attention to Google file revision history and trash, not just clearing visible cells; provider-managed backup deletion may take additional time. Justine González is responsible for carrying out and recording this process for ProTEACHai Foundation.
You may contact proteachconnect@proton.me with your random submission receipt to request removal while the record remains identifiable by that receipt. Without it, we may be unable to locate your response. Do not send extra sensitive information to identify a record. Previously published non-identifying aggregate findings may not be reversible.
Development previews
A private development preview may be hosted in Perplexity. Real-response submission is disabled there. Testing uses synthetic values kept separately from participant responses. Production surveys on Netlify do not route participant answers through the development preview or this AI conversation.
Reflection notes and demonstration forms
Inner Compass notes, COSA conversation briefs, and case-study demo responses are processed in the open browser page. The website code does not submit these entries to ProTEACH Connect, store them in a server database, or use browser local storage to retain them between visits. They are used to display your progress, review your entries, and create a download when you request one. On the COSA page, “Prepare my request” also passes your answers into a prepared email addressed to proteachconnect@proton.me. Your browser may open an email application or ask you to choose one. Review the contents and press Send there; the website cannot confirm email delivery. If no email application opens or the draft is incomplete, copy the full brief instead.
The case-study form includes optional name and email fields for demonstration. You may leave them blank or use fictional details. A completed demo form is not a mailing-list signup, consulting request, or shared Notion submission.
Notes normally disappear when the page is refreshed or closed. Browser session restoration and device features may retain information independently of the website; use a private device and clear fields before sharing it. Downloads and copied text remain wherever you save or paste them, under your control.
Scheduling
Booking buttons lead to an embedded YouCanBookMe calendar or its direct booking page. The embedded calendar does not load until you select “Load booking calendar.” Loading it connects your browser to YouCanBookMe; information you submit inside that calendar is handled through the booking service and made available to the practitioner for arranging the conversation. Booking is separate from emailing a COSA request.
Email correspondence
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any details you choose to provide. We use that information to respond, consider a requested engagement, or handle a privacy or accessibility request. Do not send student records, employee case files, health information, passwords, or confidential organizational data through a general inquiry.
Where a legal basis is required, responding to an inquiry may involve our legitimate interest in communicating with you, steps you request before a contract, or a legal obligation to handle an information-rights request. A future engagement involving personal data needs a separate scope, purpose, retention schedule, and appropriate agreement.
Other communications and security
Email correspondence is separate from Pulse responses. We retain it as needed to respond to an inquiry, manage an engagement, meet legal requirements, or resolve a dispute. Ask us about deletion if you no longer need a correspondence retained. Do not send confidential organizational records through a general inquiry.
HTTPS and restricted access reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security. If a suspected incident affects survey data, the responsible organization will investigate, restrict access as appropriate, and follow applicable notification obligations.
External services and cookies
The production website and submission function are hosted on Netlify. Google Apps Script and Google Sheets process and store submitted survey responses. These providers may handle network, service, and security information under their applicable terms. See Netlify’s Privacy Statement and Google’s Privacy Policy. The published site does not use Perplexity as its participant-response gateway.
The custom website code includes no advertising pixels, behavioral analytics scripts, or optional tracking cookies. Its fonts and visual assets are served with the site rather than requested from Google Fonts. The surrounding hosting platform may process device, usage, cookie, and log information under its own policy; see the Perplexity Privacy Notice.
Opening the learning hub moves you into Notion. Notes saved in your own Notion duplicate are stored by Notion, not only in your browser; your workspace permissions determine who can access them. Review Notion’s Privacy Policy and keep personal reflections out of shared master pages or public comments.
The Notion hub contains YouTube video players. Loading or interacting with embedded YouTube content may send device and activity information to Google, even without a Google sign-in; review Google’s Privacy Policy. Expandable video sections are not a substitute for a consent mechanism, and you may use the written reflection steps without playing videos.
Email sent to our Proton address is handled through an email service covered by Proton’s Privacy Policy. External AI tools, research sites, newsletters, ORCID, and podcast links have their own data practices; review the destination’s notice before providing information.
YouCanBookMe states that its embedded pages use cookies necessary for scheduling; optional tracking integrations configured in a booking account may change that behavior. Review the YouCanBookMe privacy policy and embedding and cookie guidance. The site does not transfer your COSA brief into the calendar automatically.
Providers may process information in other countries under their own terms. A production service involving regulated personal data requires a documented provider and international-transfer review. This page does not promise that all providers use the same processing locations or retention periods.
Your choices and rights
You can browse without entering reflection or intake information. The local tools do not sell entries, share them for advertising, send them to an AI model, or make employment, education, or other consequential decisions about you. No account or payment is required to use these tools.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information held about you, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Contact proteachconnect@proton.me with the request and relevant context; do not send identity documents unless a proportionate verification process is agreed. You may also have a right to complain to the relevant privacy regulator.
For information controlled by an external provider, use that provider’s privacy controls or contact process. A request to ProTEACH Connect cannot automatically erase a file on your device or content in your own third-party account.
Children and institutional data
This resource center is intended for adult professionals, not for collecting information from children. Do not enter identifiable student information or employee records in these demonstrations. A school or organization considering use with protected records should first agree on the appropriate privacy, security, accessibility, and contractual requirements.
AI transparency
The ambient hero video and the supporting architectural and still-life images are AI-generated illustrations. They are not photographs of client facilities, project results, or practitioner premises and do not provide evidence of an institutional outcome. AI tools also assisted with the development of this website.
The local reflection and COSA tools do not run an AI model, analyze your emotions, score you, or send your entries to a model. The AI menu links to separate tools, whose functionality and policies should be reviewed individually.
AI requirements depend on the system, its use, and the jurisdiction. For example, the European Commission’s Article 50 transparency guidance addresses certain AI providers and deployers; it is not a universal website certification. This site makes no claim of blanket “2027 AI compliance.”
Accessibility
Our design target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The site includes keyboard-operable navigation, visible focus states, labeled form fields, responsive reading layouts, a pause control for decorative motion, and reduced-motion support. This is a design target, not a completed independent conformance certification.
The original research PDF and third-party media have not undergone a complete document or media accessibility audit. Video caption and transcript quality, screen-reader behavior across all providers, and the original Notion desktop embed still need review. The web-based Inner Compass experience provides the original reflection prompts in HTML as an alternative to the fillable PDF.
If a page, video, or document is difficult to use, email proteachconnect@proton.me with the resource title, the issue, and your preferred format. You do not need to disclose a disability or medical history to request assistance.
Requirements for institutional customers depend on the arrangement. The U.S. Department of Justice’s Title II web-accessibility guidance concerns state and local governments and includes 2027 and 2028 compliance dates; it is not a blanket certification of this private website.
Updates and contact
Review this notice whenever booking settings, payments, analytics, automatic email delivery, AI functionality, or other collection changes, and when survey collection or processing changes. The date at the top records the current content review, not a guarantee that laws or third-party practices will remain unchanged.
